FAQ

How many years have you been working as a newborn photographer?
I have been in business since 2016

Have you received any newborn specific posing training and with whom did you train?
I have had training through various online courses as well as in person workshops, I have also completed and passed the safety training through APNPI.

What are the safety practices you have in place in your studio specifically geared towards the newborn client?
A clean environment, washing linens in a baby sensitive detergent, frequent hand washing, use of a spotter, weighted props, rescheduling upon signs of illness.

Will my newborn be supported by human hands in all upright positions as well as any poses requiring suspension?
Yes! I only do these poses with a parent assistant and babies are always properly supported.

What will happen in the case of illness, your own or otherwise?
I reschedule.

Can you point me towards online resources from which I can learn about safe practices when photographing newborns?

https://apnpi.com/

What camera do you use?

I mostly use a Nikon D750, I have a second camera D7200 with various lenses, 50mm, 135mm, 28-75mm

What happens after our session?

After your session you will receive a link to a gallery with a password to make your images selections. Once you make your selections your images will be made available through digital download. Prints and products will be available for pick up 2-4 weeks after ordering, and can be shipped to you for a small fee.

What should I wear to my session?

It depends on your style and the type of session but I have some tips here!

I also have some outfits you're welcome to use for your session, you can find them in on my website under Information - Wardrobe

Will there be watermarks on my final images?

No, I only watermark proofs or images I post online.

How long is your turn around time?

Galleries will be ready within 3 weeks of your session date, but are typically ready before then.
